Dr. Piazza has been practicing internal medicine and pediatrics in the Detroit and the surrounding area since 1987. His goal is to provide expert primary care in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. Patients comment on how thorough Dr. Piazza is and love leaving with a written plan and explanation with each visit.

Dr. Piazza is a graduate of the University of Michigan and received his medical degree at Wayne State. His residence training was at the Detroit Medical Center and St. John Hospital. He holds certifications in pediatrics and internal medicine. For ten years after training he enjoyed teaching and research, and now devotes his energies to clinical medicine. Dr. Piazza values working with people of all ages, and has special interest in respiratory conditions and sports medicine. His most redeeming feature is how he treats each person with respect and understanding, and will make you feel that you have a medical home at Associated Internists of Macomb.

Ronald Pierskalla, M.D.

Dr. Pierskalla has been practicing internal medicine in Macomb County since 1991. He strives to prevent illness, providing comprehensive care for teenage and adult patients. He prides himself on being a good listener and a caring physician.

After graduating from Anchor Bay High School, Dr. Pierskalla recieved a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and subsequently, his medical degree from Wayne State University. He did his residency training at St. John Hospital in Detroit and has enjoyed teaching the residents and medical students at the hospital. Dr. Pierskalla is board certified in internal medicine.

not straying far from his roots, Dr. Pierskalla has lived in Macomb County his entire life. He is married to a wonderful woman and has two beautiful daughters. He enjoys family trips up north at the cottage. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, golf and almost any sporting event. It is his down to earth personality that makes Dr. Pierskalla a special primary care physician.
